Welcome. We’re so glad you are here.
-Jeff, Christie, Nic, Eunji & Ella,
and the Kx trustees
Connexion is our heart.. We create space and hold our plans loosely,
trusting the Spirit to lead. At BaseCamp, you'll move through three kinds of space:
Attentive Space —
come ready to listen: to God, to yourself, to others
Brave Space —
come ready to risk and respond
Collaborative Space —
come ready to share, contribute, and bless one another
Friday’s Schedule
-
Jeff Lothamer, Director of Kairos and his wife, Christie, Microchurch Enabler and Comms Lead set the tone for our two days together.
We know not everyone loves an ice breaker, but Kx icebreakers allow us to tell our stories and get to know each other. No pressure, just fun! -
Simon and Ceri Harris, part of the Kx family, will lead our main session around Wholehearted Leadership. With 30 years of experience leading in the church and charity sector, and having recently published a book by that title, they'll guide us through a time of input and reflection — exploring what it means to go deeper in the freedom to live as our true selves, created in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10).
-
Not just coffee, but GOOD coffee :) And a few snacks for the peckish.
-
Simon and Ceri continue their input on living Wholehearted.
-
Ceri and Simon will lead us from our learning to reflect and respond in worship and waiting on Jesus. Feel free to follow the Spirit's lead — in posture, prayer, and expression of the gifts — with humility and sensitivity to one another. If you receive a word of prophecy, please bring it to Jeff, Christie, or Nic before sharing.
-
We've set aside a generous lunch break for connection and conversation. Eat with your team, find someone from your stream, or take the chance to have lunch with someone you've just met. Afterwards, there'll be time for coffee, a walk, or a wander back into the church to chat and get a sneak peek at the Expo boards.
Lunch ideas are featured in the next section. -
This is our second year of gathering around our Expo boards to pray and prophesy over one another. Each board reflects that community's Community, Calling, Next Steps, and Support Needed — and together they become an invitation to listen and minister.
Invite the Holy Spirit to lead you as you pray, building one another up in faith and love. Christie will guide us through this in an organised way so that everyone who would like to be prayed for has the opportunity.
-
Dinner will be catered by Flying Pig Catering and will feature a Taco and Burrito Bar, with chips and salsa at the tables and dessert to follow.
Please add any drinks you've brought to the drinks table.
After dinner, we'll ease into the evening together — music, something sweet, and good conversation.
Saturday’s Schedule
-
Adam & Charlotte will host this time in the Lord’s presence to kick off the day. We will listen with Isaiah 30:12-26 and worship the Lord together.
(Don’t worry if you aren’t an early bird, this is optional) -
-
-
We will be breaking out into smaller groups to share some of our Joys with each other and to process our Kairos moments in community.
See the sheets at the registration table to find where your group will meet. -
-
Jeff and Christie will lead a family chat around our next season as a network.
-
The Nitty Gritty: Jeff will be sharing all the practical information about Kx’s next year: Membership Subscriptions, Upcoming Events, Q&A opportunity and Feedback Forms collected.
-
Lunch will be catered in house. Brought to you by Costco.
-
Our final session with Simon and Ceri will continue our journey to be Wholehearted Leaders as we live on mission and make disciples in community.

Our DNA
Christoformed — formed by the life and teaching of Jesus so much that we look, act and talk like Him. Small — convicted that the kingdom advances through what is intimate, unhurried, and reproducible. Brave — risking in obedience to the Spirit’s call. Called — sent by Jesus to witness to Him and make disciples. Multiplication — entrusting what we carry to faithful people who will carry it further. Cruciform — shaped by the cross we carry. Attentive — intentional to listen; to God, each other, and our neighbours. Servants — leading from the bottom up, authority earned through faithfulness. Toward the margins — present at the edges of society, the centre of our mission. Wholehearted — following Jesus with our whole selves — body, mind, emotion, imagination, and will. Relational — committed to connexion, bound by friendship and trust. Collaborative — linking arms with others, both pioneers and inherited church leaders alike.
To see the church multiplying again through ordinary people.
Who could you champion to join this
new learning community?
