I'm passionate about seeing leaders discover their calling and cities transformed by the gospel. There's nothing quite like the moment when someone realizes they were made for more than they ever imagined.
My journey has taken some unexpected turns—from being a GP in Bristol caring for individual patients, to planting churches and discovering I had a heart for building communities that could change entire cities. When Jenny and I moved to Liverpool with our four girls in 1991 to plant Frontline Church, I had no idea it would grow to 1000 people or that it would launch me into a lifetime of helping other leaders multiply their impact.
What I love most about coaching is walking alongside leaders who are wrestling with the same questions I've faced: How do we build something that lasts? How do we reach our cities? How do we stay faithful while being innovative? There's such joy in helping someone breakthrough to their next level of calling.
I love helping leaders with:
Finding clarity on their calling and next steps
Building churches and communities that multiply
Developing city-reaching strategies that actually work
Growing in evangelism and discipleship rhythms
Navigating leadership challenges and transitions
When I'm not coaching, you'll probably find me in a coffee shop reading, playing tennis (badly), or at a jazz gig. Having eight grandchildren means there's always someone wanting a story or a game, which keeps life wonderfully chaotic.
