The Microchurch Network
Learning Community
This Learning Community is a brilliant opportunity for people who are feeling called and inspired by God to plant, lead and develop new missional communities that can become microchurches.
This is a collaberation between Kairos Connexion and Myriad desined to journey with and equip teams to go on mission, make disciples, see church emerge, and multiply disciples over time.
Over two and half years, this Learning Community will guide you into an experience of pioneering, strengthening and growth for your budding or new microchurch.
Each team will be supported by The Microchurch Network in a bespoke way. Each team will be offered a mentor or coach to accompany your journey.
Who is this for?
It is a place for anyone who feels called to make disciples and start a new church community.
You may not yet have worked out what it looks like and would benefit from gathering with other like-minded people to discover how to go about it. Or you may have recently started a new church community, say in the last 12 months, and find that you need training and support.
All we ask is that if you decide to explore this further, your application comes with a character reference.
What does this experience offer?
The hub offers a learning pathway with learning based on five themes:
vision and discernment;
leading and teams;
formation and core practices;
planting and discipling
growth and multiplication.
This programme is designed to be lightweight and can be done alongside church and a busy life. Over the two and half years, we anticipate each six months will include:
attendance at two day gathering
mid-way check in online
mentor/coach meetings.
When will the hub run?
We will have time together on Friday evening and Saturday. The format and exact timings of the weekend will be confirmed in due course). We hope to create a fun, engaging, relational learning environment for us all.

Each gathering will include food, worship, input, reflection and plenty of team time to the work together discussing plans for your new community.
What does it cost?
Kairos is fundraising to subsudise the majority of the cost for this experience.
We will be happy to place you in a host home near to the venue. Or you may opt to find your own accommodation, if that suits you better.
The Cost for each gathering will be £35 per person in your team. The total cost then comes to £175 for the 2.5 year pathway.
