What’s Galilee all about?
Our aim is to help people connect with one another and Jesus as we explore together life’s big questions.
Those of no faith, any faith and the undecided are welcome.
Most especially those who wouldn’t ordinarily contemplate “church” as they know it!
We meet in the CT14 area. In homes, the pub, and, weather permitting, on the beach. But also we meet together socially and to support one another in daily living, both spiritually and practically.
Currently meeting at the Kings Head, Kingsdown on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
There’s no preaching or sermons. Instead we discuss, explore questions and mutually share about spirituality and following Jesus.

In one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of everything
In Jesus, God’s Son, who died for our sins and rose again
In the healing and transforming power of the Holy Spirit at work today and open to all
We offer a space where people can meet in small groups, where they can discover or rediscover Jesus Christ. We are Christ centred, open-minded, and respectful of everyone’s beliefs and views.

We recognize Jesus as our guide and leader. We listen to his teachings daily, follow his example, and value regular times of rest and reflection.

We actively participate in Jesus' work in the world. We regularly ask ourselves: Who am I called to serve? Where am I needed? Who am I working alongside?

We believe everyone has special abilities to contribute. We grow our own talents while helping others discover and develop theirs.

We invite others to experience a relationship with Jesus and become part of our community. We share our way of life and mentor others who can then mentor others.

Church is fundamentally a family of people who worship together, grow in their faith, and share life with one another.
