Kx Community of Practice Gathering 1

The Community of Practice is suitable for any church that has already taken part in a 2 year Learning Community process either with us or previously with 3DM Europe. This CoP will take place over four 2-day gatherings which will be held on a Friday/Saturday, 6 months apart. It will be assumed that participant churches are already familiar with, and putting into practice, content from a Learning Community. The topics will be familiar to you:

Building a Discipling Culture (November 2016)  / Multiplying Missional Leaders (May 2017)

Launching Missional Communities / Leading Kingdom Movements (dates tbc)

As leaders who have been part of a previous Learning Community, exploring ways of shaping church around mission, discipleship and community, you will know the value of setting aside time as a church leadership team to consider ‘what is?’, ‘what could be?’ and ‘what will be?’ around these kind of topics.

Systemic and cultural change in our churches doesn’t come by simply attending the next best conference, but by consistently applying principles, practices and priorities that have been agreed and committed to by the whole leadership team.

The Kairos Connexion Community of Practice starting this November 18th-19th will be an amazing opportunity to revisit these topics and dig deeper into the values, vision and vehicles that can take us to the kind of church we really want to lead and be a part of. Gathering 1 starts with a fresh look at core principles of discipleship, family on mission, and healthy rhythms that are fruitful and sustainable.

As a 24 hour event (7pm Friday – 7pm Saturday) it is more accessible than the longer midweek LCs that you will have experienced before. It enables more lay leaders to be involved and reduces time and cost commitments. However combined with the coaching groups that run fortnightly for the senior leaders, it can be a powerful driver for change. We would love you to join us for the 18 month journey and see what God will do, both in you and in your church.

The costs for the Community Of Practice are £500 per church per gathering, this covers 3 x attendees per church and fortnightly coaching huddle for senior leaders with an addtional cost of £75 per person per gathering.
